Alright Costco, I don't know why you're selling caskets in the first place, but "The Mother Casket"?
For shame. I do understand that there is the word Mother embroidered on the casket, and the name seems obvious, but let's think about this a little more.
Furthermore, the interior description says "Nude crepe."
Right after it says this:
THERE IS NO SCIENTIFIC OR OTHER EVIDENCE THAT ANY CASKET WITH A SEALING DEVICE WILL PRESERVE HUMAN REMAINS
(In all caps because Costco wants to ensure they are not held liable for decomposition of loved ones' bodies.)
Maybe this blog post is in poor taste, but so is the name of this casket model, admittedly. It gets good ratings, though, which is saying something for Costco's online storefront, where reviews are hard to come by.
Also, when I'm dead, please don't spend a lot of money on my funeral and casket. That will be of no use to anyone.

How did you even find out about this? Is it on Costco's home page or something?
And p.s., I think this would be my casket of choice simply because of the name. Only I'd insert a "of all" between "mother" and "casket" so it could be "the mother of all casket[s]." That would be, to put it simply, awesome sauce.
and p.s., do people actually think putting someone in a casket of any form is supposed to preserve a body?
p.p.s., I like how they have expedited shipping caskets available, too, for last-minute shoppers.
I have a question! How exactly are they getting ratings on these things? Aren't the people who are using them dead?
Dang it, Holly, you stole my comment. I was gonna call it the mother of all caskets. Now I got nothing. Do they have a father and baby casket Nothing is cuter than a family of caskets.

And, just for the record, Costco is a one stop shopping experience now, so a casket was long overdue.
